Cathy N. Davidson is appearing in an MLA webinar on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 with other leading higher education thinkers about how colleges and universities are changing and must change in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some questions the webinar will address include: Can the current crisis help us confront long-standing issues and build more sustainable models of higher education? How will faculty research change? How can remote learning be student-centered learning? What will tuition models look like after the declines in enrollments we anticipate? Paula M. Krebs, the executive director of the MLA, will moderate this discussion with Cathy N. Davidson (Graduate Center, City University of New York), Alondra Nelson (Social Science Research Council), and Christopher Newfield (University of California, Santa Barbara) and take questions.
