  1. Yesterday I was honored to deliver the closing keynote at the annual convention of the National Association of Independent Schools.  It was pretty amazing to stand up in front of 6000 educators, to see your own self projected behind you on a gigantic JumboTron, and to know that some of the smartest, most dedicated people you will ever meet were seeing and listening in that room.   It was an incredible experience.    And, now, I’d like to share one small part of that event with you.  At one point, I did an exercise with the audience, and asked them to write on a card “The Three Most Important Things We Can Do Now To Help Prepare Students For Their Future.”    Here are some of the comments educators at #NAISac13 wrote on their cards, copied here from Twitter:
